Vinification: Grown on calcareous loam soil in the Reinthal basin. A selection from over 40-year-old vines. Fermented and matured in a 500L wooden cask, bottled after 10 months.
Description: Herbaceous notes, a hint of lemon balm, white pome fruits, and also tropical fruits, fine acidity structure, delicately spicy, with a hint of dark minerality.
Food Pairing: Pairs well with local game dishes, hearty fish dishes, quickly seared meats, and spicy or aged cheeses.
Enjoy in a large glass. Aging potential of at least 15 years, cellar it.
